Does anybody have any instructions/manuals to remove all the dashboard trimmings (all the plastics) so that I could paint them? I remember going on someone's webpage and they said that they had their plastic parts removed and painted rather than buying and replacing all the different parts. I'm trying to get the plastic parts to be a certain color. I have a 98 SE model with a dark grey-leather interior. Also, any other suggestions as to which color would look good with the dark-grey?

dash...

I have a 95...
so, don't know if this will help.

First there are two screws in the behind the ashtray.
the gear-shifter part pops right out, but becareful.
After that everything pops right out.

I think maximadriver.com has a "how to" section on this.
good luck.
I'm doing the same thing...painting the dash.
That was my post, asking for secrets...hehehe...

Let me know how it turns out...
what kinda paint are you going to use on your dash?
are you also going to sand the dash a bit for the paint to adhere better?
