Door handles

my dorr handles r silver. i want them to be the same color as my car just like the se is. i done know if i can paint them or what.

No kidding, Soul Fly, take it easy! Think for just a second before flaming him and realize that done=don't, it's a simple typo; everyone makes mistakes.

Anyone wanna help this guy out?

I know some people that sand them down and then paint them with a few coats of body colored paint. They turn out good for the most part, but eventually chip away from what i understand. If you want a really good job, you should just take it to a body shop.

That's what I did. Notice the chrome window trim and body colored handles...

I painted the handles and trim-brite'd the chrome window trim on my gxe. Both are easy to do and after 6 months no signs of wear (2 coats of clear).

Looks nice. Now paint those hubcabs blue too.
