strut install......

hey there is a pic of the strut bearing in this install.... is that the right way its suppose to placed when puttign your struts back together???? if so i put my in backwards
no wonder it makes this grinding noise, do you think i am ****ign up my towers?

also the cover for the springs where they meet the struts on bottom, anyone tried using some gerenic rubber instead of these??

nah i mean the strut bearing:



is that how its supose to look when you put it on? i put mine inside the 2 haves with the 3 screws in it i think i ****ed up

Goodhead you need to take your front struts apart and make sure there installed properly. New bearings are available at your dealer for about $30 each. Replace them if they are damaged. Also make note that the word OUT on the upper spring perch is lined up with the lower strut mount flange. It's very important that the assembly lines up correctly.

hehe yeah i was in a rush to put it back in, when i took it apart it poped out and only later di i find it lol been like 1k seems fine, but im redo it real soon thanks for the help everyone
