Uhh... heheh, sorry to let you down, but the cefiros wont fit 100%. You would still have a gap. Thats why i never got them.

If I had the money, what I would really like to do is retrofit a pair of valeo's into the cefiro housing, along with some hella 90mm reflectors for high beams, or maybe even a bi-xenon projector plus the halogen high beam if it would fit. (keeping halogen hi beams is nice, flash to pass, can wire them up to your alarm.. etc.)

reflective housing + hid's = blinding glare for everyone except you
plus they look sexy as hell .. i think they would be sweet if the clear clearance lights were purchased and painted the reflective part black, and removed the light housing to make the inside of it smooth.

now that would be a sexy headlight setup

(talking about any hid/project/bi-xenon setup in stock headlight housings that is)

projectors> cefiros for looks in my opinion. looks and function. Just my opinion. Soulrupture, BlueC, Mad-Max_SE, Geo1317, jcy98maxse, 007max all have the ultimate in lighting...at least funciton wise.

I heard that the H4 housing of the Cefiro headlight offers alot less glare with aftermarket H4 hid kits than compared to the stock US Maxima 9004 housing. But I believe that MOST all reflective housings that are not made for HID's offer too much glare and ALL are illegal on-road. Stick to using HID's for what they're designed for: Projectors.

i think the cefiros are a nice change from stock. They're not too pricey and reasonably easy to install. Those other projectors look pretty cool, but hey, when are u guys gonna make enough for everyone? i didn't think so.

His are very similar to my setup. He's using the same E-type Shrouds, and it looks like he put in them in the same way as me (notice how they stick out farther). Anyone know if hes using the same E55 projectors?

Yea, imo, black housings go better with the projectors. It really cut down the glare from my headlights, plus I think it looks 10x better.

Whats with the body filler look? Is that what needs to be done when you get cefiro's? I was going to get them in the next week or so but now i think ill pass and just get some new oem headlights and clear corners instead.

Personally I think that the cefiros look better than projectors headlights. But projectors are more useful than cefiro headlights.

Both headlight set ups are PIA to install.

Just to clarify, the ones that Paradox has are from LHD cars, not RHD cars. We have OEM nissan ones (clear) and aftermarket smoked ones.

They're on sale .. Check out the sponsors section.

As for the gap, many people use black weather stripping to fill it in and its not too noticeable. It does require some work but its worth it.
For myself it was a cheap and practical way to change my headlights. I couldn't justify going the way of projectors.. Heaven forbid something should happen to them, I'd be outta luck.

Those are SO nice. I like how you put the silver bulb it the corners. Makes me want to run out and get some hid's. Too bad I'm a poor college kid. I guess I'll have to drool over yours.

i agree with that....if you mess up your projector headlight mod that you made or if someone backs into your or hits you head on, you are screwed.....the cefiros are easy to replace then having to remake your headlights again. i personally love the cefiro look....no offense but the projectors with a black housing on blue c. max looks just lil weird...the blue maxima with his in a chrome housing looks tons better because the projector blends in with the housing better. Yeah the custom work looks cool, but i would rather have replacement parts easy to get my hands on then having to get new oem ones, and open them up and buy the projector again and do the whole mod again, you guys say it takes a lot of time, well you would have to do it all over again. imho i wouldn't do the projectors cuz the cefiros are more accessible and look cleaner, sure there is a gap but just a slight filling job and thats it, as oppose to buying a whole other headlight and opening it up and fixing it. Cefiros are the easiest way to go to increase appearence, and the beam pattern will still look good, cuz compare them to the oem headlights and they are just as clear and h4 blubs are brighter then 9004 match up the cefiros with a h4 true hid kit and you got bright a$$ clean looking headlights.

No I wouldnt be outta luck. Id be down $280 I spend on the projectors. With the cefiros, you are spending pretty much the SAME amount. You would lose that money aswell, since if you made a claim to insurance, they would only reimburse you for stock housings.

Trust me, I looked at every possibility of problems with projectors... Lets just say there was enough good things to make me not worry about the bad things.

About the H4 HID kit in the Cefiro housings, you're gonna have a sh!tload of glare and hotspots. Everytime I see a car with HIDs in a reflector housings (Escalades, Acura TLs, 2k2 Maximas, etc) it makes me cringe to see all the glare that is there.

well i don't care about the other drivers....but you still have to take apart your headlight to redo the headlight modification and how much does a brand new projector cost????? so you loose more money and time, cuz you have to take apart the new oem headlight and spend money on a factory benz or audi (whichever car company you go with) projector.
