I am looking at getting the H&R springs for my 5spd Max. I want the H&R's due to the softer rate, but I have heard that the rear end will be lower than the front, esp on a 5spd.
Anyone have any experiences in this department??
Otherwise I am thinking about going with Progress springs.

YUP - H&R's with 5spd here, car sits pretty level. I'll take a good look and even measure tomorrow but I think its level.
the gap is even, but the car will look like the rear is a tiny tiny tiny bit lower, really unnoticeable

My 5spd H&R drop combo made the back look lower and I couldn't stand it. I now have custom spacers to raise the back up slightly. Some seem to have this problem and other do not...not sure why.
I'm also on H&Rs and can say that the rear looks and may in fact be actually lower than the front..oh well...like the ride...not sure I like the drop, but the ride works for me

It seems that the NEWER H&R springs do not suffer like the older ones do. Not sure when the date of demarkation was, btu I have noticed the trend. Also, having anything in the rear can make it appear to sag. In reality, the drop is more nithe front, but the rear wheelwells are smaller, making it look sagged.
It's just an illusion that the H&Rs give...the gaps are the same. Just like the BMW rear tucked wheels in some of the newer 325i s. What you really have to worry about: Do this hender my performance? The H&Rs are really good springs, i've had my springs for about a year and haven't had any problems with them.
I have new H&Rs on my new Maxima and the front is lower than the rear. It has a slightly raked look. I like it.

I guess H&R received enough complaints about the front looking higher than the rears, and they corrected it.
I concur with phenryiv1 though....there is a newer H&R spring that is better about the even drop. I don't know the date which this takes place either though.

What is the part number for the older H&R springs? Maybe that reflects the change. The number is painted onto each spring.

Any new info on the production date for H&R's with the raised look in the rear? I also like a raked look, and do not want to buy the H&R's if the rear tends to sag or is dead even with the front. It seems from posted measurements, that the Tokico springs might give a raked appearance.
