I got a set of these installed. They're both stylish and functional.

Actually, Maxima99SEBose, you would be surprised how much they do on a car.
I was kind of skeptical, but I found a set from someone on the .org for like $30 shipped.
I dicided to try them out, and I love them.
It gives a very aggressive look (for those of us who don't want a body kit) and they are very functional. The side of my car stays clean for at least 5 days longer than is used wo w/o splash guards.

@ author of thread:
I would just search the 4th gen classifieds and find some there.
I think you should be able to find some.
Start pming people and see what you come up with.

If you're talking the factory one's like on SE's there most be some org'rs with some kicking around as they get removed when they put on any kind of skirt kit. Mine will be coming off shortly

They are more of a trim piece than anything and make a big difference appearance wise. The car looks incomplete without them. My GXE didnt have them as it was. So I picked up a set from Ebay. I'm going to take them to a body shop at some point and have them paint them to match the rest of the car (pearl). I havent seen anyone here who has done that. On a 4G i mean, I know thats been a factory option since 02.

There are a few people that have done that, passEMonTHErite.
Jepth20 and 99maxima5spd both did this.
It looks really good to be body colored.
I actually was going to do that, but decided to leave them black (at least for now) because the black looks really good against my red Max and all of my other accessories are black on the car. Everything on the car is pretty much red or black....interior and exterior.

I got the OEM ones used (no scratches at all) off eBay for $50 shipped. They're $90 from Nissan. And like Brudaddy said they keep the car much cleaner. I love them and the car looks more aggresive IMO
