Hello Every One Im New to the Site.

I'm have problems Pumping gas @ the gas station. For example, if I pull the gas trigger all the way back, gas comes back and start to spit out every where and the tank is not even close to full. I have to pump the gas extra extra slow to avoid the gas spitting problem. It take me at least 8 mins to Pump $25 worth of gas into my car. I have a 1999 Maxima GLE edition. I need help. What is the problem i 'm facing? Thanks people i will get back soon.

wow, that's really not good. 8 min. to pump $25 into you car. sounds like something is restricting the gas causing the auto shutoff to kick on. you might want to have your fuel neck and fuel restrictor plate checked out to see if somethings clogged or jammed. i had that same problem on my old '86 Bronco, never found out what it was though.

You should post this on a gas station forum or something because you need a "how-to" write up for using the pump.

maybe someone shoved some paper, or cotton in there... from the way you described it, gas goes in, but since the flow of the pump is faster than the diffusion would allow, it spits up... just my thoughts...

if youre talking about an 86 bronco I (the big one) then I feel bad for you... my dad's got a 96 eddie bauer, and it takes long enough to pump the $60 or so as it is...

Welcome to the org haha you will become addicted to this site. It has everything you will ever need to know about max's. Everyone here is usually very nice and helpful. Check updated with you local section for meets and stuff. There always a blast.

To the gas, do anyone has anything out for you? You **** anyone off lately? Sounds like something is clogged in the neck. I was going to say stick something in there and see if anything is stuck but i dont know if that would help of not, could make things worse Maybe take it to a shop? Maybe spray some compressed air in there. Is it just at 1 station? Try other gas stations. Good luck.
