Where PRECISELY is the immobilizer chip located on the key?

Hey, my key broke and i'd like to just drill a hole in the thicker plastic. But i've got a 99 with the chip. I'd hate to put a hole thru it. I remember reading about someone else having the same problem. So does anyone know exactly where the chip is under the plastic? It's be nice to be able to just go buy another cheap one but unfortunatly its not that cheap. Thanks alot.

I'm pretty sure its that little box on the key. Look at where the plastic meets the metal, there should be a little rectangle next to it. Stupid chipped keys. Nissan will do anything to make you go back to the dealer for something.

Ahh i see it now. Cool, thanks alot. I'm gonna assume its just a little square chip about the size of that little rectangle. I'll just drill thru the opposite corner.
