Does the brand name of the FSTB matter for our cars?

I know each company (CUSTOM Maxima, Cattman, Stillen) says their FSTBS are better than the rest for specific reasons, but does anyone with a 4th generation know if they are even different in quality, functionality, design, etc.? Just curious since I have a generic FSTB with no brand name. If there is a difference I would like to purchase a better FSTB. thanks for any info and opinions.

I have the Stillen one. It looks nice.

I highly doubt you could feel the difference in strut braces. Your money would be better spent elsewhere.

it matters. you must get one of those "type-R" FSTB or else your car will spin out everytime you corner.

I bought the cattman titanium bar, its very light and looks better than all the rest IMO, but i'm sure it functions just as well as the rest of them.

if your going to do shows with you car, then it would look better to have a name brand Stillen etc, but if you just want the benifits of the bar, but dont care for the name, like everyone else said they all function the same, grab and ebay one ~35 shipped, cause you wont notice that much of a difference.

If anything I read that the Stillen bar was the worst. I read that someone pulled on the bar while it was installed on the car and instead of moving the whole car the bar just bent. I don't kmow if that's all of them or just some. I have a nice, FAT OTTO bar and it's nice. Pinted black of course. One thing I don't like is that it's pretty much hollow inside.

The stillen bar lets you adjust pre-load on the shock towers (not sure whether or not the others do). If somebody just slapped it on and didn't have it adjusted properly, I could see them getting some play on it.

Weight and durability are about the only "performance" factors. I personally like Cattman's, it isn't exspensive for a quality bar and it is light. Just my .02
