01 clutch alignment tool on a 95 max

01 clutch alignment tool on a 95 max

I have a alignment tool for a 01 nissan is what it says on the tool thats all that I could find and when installing the clutch it had a little bit of play in it...how exact does it have to be lined up

It should be fine...they are the same clutch (same part numbers even).

im not sure if its for a maxima though it just says 2001 nissan

I cant get a part #, because I dont have a raper or anything it was just given to me by a tranny shop but do you think that you could get me a pic of what it is supposed to look like im not sure if this is the right one or not because it has play in it

you could even do it with the end of a broomstick. the one you have should work fine....it just centers the clutch, which will adjust itself once you start driving anyway....
