Door Light Ideas?

has anyone tried LEDS in the door lights? ive done dome and light switch LEDs, did anyone do any kind of mod on the door lights?

im doing a strip of leds facing down under the door panel so it lights up the ground like in some new model cars.

A simple 194 style LED is the way to go. They can be found online or at your local rice shops. They look great. Its the little details that count.

superbrightleds.com has LED bulbs that look like they'll fit right in the door lights. Below is the link, just scroll to the bottom. They call them "festoon" bulbs.

you can also add a neon tube on your roof and get power/ground from the dome light...

I've replaced the original 194 with blue LED (four led in one). Looks pretty good. If you want to know how it looks, let me know. I'm thinking of adding more blue LED on the door and under the seats.

that looks really nice... i've seen some people try match blues before but those are a perfect match!

yeah those are damn good, i dont know how the hell they got the light behind the door handle but thats a good idea, i would have never thought to do something like that before i saw that pic....


they even put blue light where the park, reverse, letters are, thats just crazy

I made a small board and put 6 leds with resistors (tight fit) in the door courtesy lights. Looks good and took me only 1 hour for both doors.

yep my ac and door switches are white leds...im going to do performance stuff for a while, then ill get back to the pretties

i got blinking white led's in my door handles, was going to add them to the alarm, but there a little bright for that, now i just call them door strobes, look pretty good though.
