95-99 MotorSwap 00-03

Has Any1 Seen Pics Of This Done? I Have Seen Only 1 In Real Life And The Guy Had Told Me He Got The Motor And Tranny off a 2003 Maxima And Swaped It into 97 Max And Now He Is Pushing 256hp At The Wheels And Its 6spd To TOp It off. To Me The Guy Did a good job but he spent to much money on it, when he could of got a turbo for cheaper, he spent 8000 alone in da motorswap labor.

In one of the import magazines recently, they interviewed a San Diego officer. he said any engine larger in size (3.5 > 3.0) is illegal. After looking around vehicle codes, the only thing I found was the transplant engine must be newer than the old one. So dunno what's legal here.
