Cruise Control and Dimmer LED QUESTION
BLUE LED Project Complete w/ Pics (56k dont think about it)
I spent the day changing out the bulbs in my ACC to blue LEDS. So far it looks sweet. I'll post pick later tonight, but right now I'm having problems with the cruise and dimmer switches. If you are looking at the switch (cruise control), which is the negative LEAD? Any help would be great!
Project is COMPLETE!!!
I'm finally done changing all the Bulbs to LEDs. Here are the ones I changed:-Window Switches
-Security Light
-Ignition Key Ring
-Gauge Cluster
-Cruise Control
-Dimmer Switch
-Auto Climate Control
-Blue Clock Mod
-Blue ACC Display
-Blue BOSE Display
And now for the pics!!!!

I used one layer of blue celophane and one layer of red celophane for the clock and ACC displays. For the BOSE HU, i used only one layer of blue celophane. it matches up quite well. During the day it's a little blurry but for the most part, I dont mind. I like the way it looks at night.
i just changed my guage cluster to blue leds also, but I forgot to do my signal indicators. Did you change yours to blue, if so is it just a blub switch like the gauges or do i have to use celophane?

Cruise Control Led

Can anyone Identify which is positive and which is neg for the cruise control Led on the right side of the swith? Accroding to the diagram terminal pin 5 and 6 on the M27 plug should be for the cruise control light. But when I bring 12v to it, it does't light up. I also tried bringing 12v to terminal pin 4 and 3 on the M27 plug for the ON light and that works fine but 5 and 6 doesn't seem to make the Cruise Control Led light up. Anyone done this can tell me what Im doing wrong?

I think I may have it figured out. Looking at the diagram with the M27 plug facing you the same way as in the diagram (pin side) 6 and 1 is what powers the led for Cruise Illumination light. I know that seems wierd because the diagram says 5 and 6 for Illumination (uness Im reading something wrong) but I tested it bringing 12v to 5 and 6 and nada no worky. I then tried + to pin 6 and - to pin 1 and the LED for the Cruise Control Illumination finally lit
. Don't know why But now I'll just plug it in tomorrow and see if it will work. I'll post back with results.

plugged it in and it did not work
something is wrong. Im just gona check for power at the plug in the car and try to narrow it down that way. I guess 6 and 1 doesnt power the Cruise Control light. Maybe it depends of the position of the switch but i tried moving it and nothing. Not event the ON light lit up. I feel like in the only one that cares about this. Anyone got this thing working? Come on! I know someone had to get this working.
