from what everyone says, the shorty headers do close to nothing. little to no power gain. i think they are the same as the stone racing headers where they just bolt on to your existing or aftermarket y pipe.

what id like to know is there a difference in sound, when ever i hear cars with aftermarket headers (v6 and up) i hear a deeper growl. it sounds alot more aggresive as before. i saw some stone racing headers sell for 60 sumthin bux on ebay. if i can get a good sound with em, i may consider gettin em after i finish up all my other stuff.

stone racnig headers

now i now these are garbage comapared to cattman and will give no gains, id jus like to know if they change the sound in anyway. At least they look good, this may jus end up being a rice mod lol.

First off they give close to no gains, second 1FSTMAX tried installing them and gave up... they didnt line up correctly and you have to cut off a piece of the front motor mount.

Cobymoby is selling a set in the f/s section, he was the one installing them for 1FSTMAX

Tilley has them on the 3.5 block. He said some cutting was definetly needed, was a pain to install he said.
