Bose Radio Dead but fuse OK, what do I check next?

Hello,
Love my Max, unfortunately the radio decided to go belly up on my 96. Any ideas, the fuses are fine, the dial and button lights on the radio come on but the power button no longer turns on the radio. Anyone else have this problem; Is it time for a new one or is there a fuse in the Radio?http://forums.maxima.org/newthread.p...newthread&f=9#

I had a similar problem. My rear bose speaker was blown. However, it caused my bose fuse to keep blowing out also. If your bose fuse is fine, I'm not sure...

I have had the display go out and the cd player stop playing cd's, but I haven't run into the whole radio not working. Bose HU are very tempermental, they do have resistors in them that can cause various problems when they go. I might be inclined to start there. There is a write up about them (the resistors) here on the .org but I can't seem to find it right now.

Thanks for the feedback. Is pulling the radio necessary to get to the fuse? If so it might be time to get a new one.
