From my swap, (ABS) The passenger side axle from the auto and 5spd were identical. The driver side axle was different (larger input shaft).
I think he is lowered, so most likely he has camber bolts, which go out of spec if you loosen them, as they do on my car.

I replaced my passenger AUTO/NO ABS axle yesterday....and now it shakes whenever I take off from a red light or stop sign.....just had wheels balanced last week...so that's why I think it's the alignment....
I just got finished changing my oil today and noticed one of my boots was torn and grease was everywhere. I know I have at least driven 2k miles since it happened, possibly more. If I don't have any clicking do I need to replace the whole axle or just the boot? Is Raxles.com the best place to get one?
ABS and No ABS... the only difference is the ABS ring.. that ring with teeth on the end. If you have No ABS on the car and get one with ABS, you can just bang the ring out, its the same thing.
Auto and Manual there are differences... dont know what though.

weird though. i got this noise ever since i replaced my suspension. weird. could it be something else?
lol I wasnt totally serious about what I said but its better to be safe than sorry... Plus its not even that expensive.
Just inspect your cv boots and check if there broken, if your broken you know you gotta replace the axle anyways and thats most probably where the clicking is coming from. Its usally the opposite side of where your turning that theres a bad axle.. For example..
If you turn left and you hear clicking its most probably your passenger side axle.. If you turn right you should check the driver side...

I bought a passenger side axle today from Raxles.com. It was $170 which included shipping. The passenger side is more expensive than the driver side. I will be installing it this weekend using motorvate's instructions.
I noticed the other day that my passenger side axle had a little cut in it and some grease coming out. Its an autozone remanufactured axle that I just replaced last year. Seems to me like something got popped up and cut it. I wouldn't doubt it because retard kids like to leave glass bottles in the parking lots. I really don't feel like replacing the boot or axle again so I just cleaned it up a lil and put some silicone on it. Hopefully it stays for awhile. Other than that, the autozone axles look and work fine (autozone axle on driver's side too).
well ****..that si what all that nasty stuff all over my struts and uncer my car is, the axle grease. i never figured that out. How much does it cost to get them replaced? cause i mess up veerytign i try to do. everything i do take 3 times as longer than most people.
i just need my **** fixed cause it is getting annoying

Writeup? Havn't found one.. its self explanatory once you take off the tire and see what you have to do..
one big nut that wont come off without a fight, and 3 bolts.. tap the axle off the hub and give it a tug and it will pop out.. unless u have bad luck.. mine went out on the first try.. Had the new one in less than 10minutes.

Go to www.motorvate.ca and follow the instructions for the CV boot replacement. They take the axle off so at that point just put the new one back on.
