I didnt know if anyone would look in the old post. This is the follow up to the 97 Maxima VS 96 Honda Civic

Well the race is over well i guess it was Races. He was pretty confident, and for a minute I was a little worried because a buddy of mine told me that he might have NOS. It turns out he didnt though. I have an Automatic and he has a 5 speeed so I knew he would probably beat me off the line. Out of the start he didnt really beat me off the line by as much as I thought he would. And it was only a matter of seconds before I caught him and blew by him, I won by around 5 car lengths on him in that first race. After that race he wanted to see my engine because he swore I had some mods done. He soon found out that all I have is a K&N drop in filter which probably wasnt a big factor at all. So we raced a few more times with the same result until I decided not to waste anymore gas. He then started with the excuses saying he had sprained his ankle the night before and it was hard for him to use it while racing. I just laughed and then left. So he should stop talking now, and wake up and realize just how fast Maxima's are. Now im off to go install my Tranny Cooler. Take Care

 

Ok a few of you have asked to see my results of the BMW race, well you will know soon. I am going to go race him now, they called a few minutes ago and asked if I wanted to go race, maybe more than one car. Ill let you guys know the model of BMW when I get back as well as any others I might end up racing. They just cant stand it that a Maxima is making their little racing group look so bad. hehehehe Ill post results later!

 

Ok im back from yet another day of racing! Well it was only a few races. Unfortunately the owner of the BMW that wanted to race me said his car wasnt running right so that race did not happen. So instead I raced an 1997 Eclipse RS, needless to say I beat him easily those bottom of the line models are slow. Heres where it gets kinda interesting. The kids said they had a car on the way that wanted to race me but didnt tell me what it was when I asked. They said they just called him and that he was on his way. So in the meantime a guy driving a 94 Eagle Talon Stock wanted to race and I said i didnt really want to because it isnt good for my car to race like this two days in a row. I changed my mind when he started talkin ****, long story short i beat him by about 5 car lengths. Now here came this mystery car and guess what it was..............1997 Supercharged Maxima SE. I straight up said you would smoke me and he had a lot of respect and said that he really like my car but didnt really want to race because he knew it was unfair. Then he took my side and said that he would rather come racin with me than with those guys. He said he had been lookin for another Maxima owner in town to race with, so i thought it was kinda funny that he ditched his buddies and didnt want to race me. Ok ill stop now I have been typing forever. The owner of the BMW said as soon as his car is runnin right then we will race. Take Care

SB97max, now what you should do is go back to the honda board where you found this guy and let everyone on the board know you wipped him. I have a 97 GXE auto. Now I have more confidence than I had. Are you racing a BMW 535i? If you are racing a Z3(the first model that came out), you'll smoke him. I race one in a V70 turbo and pulled from it.

 

Hey Deezo, he is on his own private board that him and a bunch of his buddies created. I went in the and posted and asked "Hey do any of you Honda owners know who won that 97 Maxima VS 96 Honda Civic?" Then I said "Oh wait now I remember, the Maxima won all 4 times" They are all postin $hit like "You must have cheated, i bet you have NOS" And whyd you punk out against that Maxima, which is dumb of them to say because even though they dont realize it they are just praizing the Maxima even if it is his obviously they know its better than their Honda's/ LOL About the BMW he didnt have his car their today and I forgot to ask him about the model. I e-mailed him about an hour ago and asked him what it is though and am waiting for a response. Ill post it to let you know what model it is. They want me to race a 97 Eclipse GSX, I know those things are pretty fast with that turbo and am kinda afraid that he will smoke me. I havent responded to them yet about that race though. The thing about the Eclipse's though is that they dont have a lot of high end power, a friend of mine had one and would always beat people off the line and then get passed by them towards the end. Let me know what you guys think about the GSX. He can probably beat me since im all stock besides a K&N drop in filter and Tranny COoler. Take Care

 

Now I really don't like those civic-heads. When you race the next 2 cars, give it all you got. I killed a Galant ES yesterday on the way to work.
