Turn Signal Problem...

For some reason, my turn signals decided to stop working. Here is what is going on:

Emergency blinkers do not work
Turn signals in dash do not flash
Blinkers in front and rear not working

However, if I use my remote to lock the car, the lights blink just fine. I checked all the fuses, and not one is burned out. Any help with this would be appreciated...it sucks driving in downtown Chicago with no turn signals!

Try checking the wiring for the hazard light button in the dash. The turn signals are wired through that button and won't work if the wiring is disconnected. I found that out the hard way when I drove my car after disassembling the dash to install audio gear and then driving the car with the dash still torn apart.

Could it be his flasher relay? Do you hear a clicking from right under your steering wheel when you use your remote to lock your car (you'll have do it from inside the car to hear it). I'm wondering if its the same relay that controls the flashing for the keyless as for the regular turn signals...

yep...i was just changing a bulb in the climate control & drove to autozone without the center of the dash (everything disconnected) and none of my turn signals worked... check the hazard light button like Micah said.

It's difficult to look cool in your modded Maxima while sticking your arm out the window for hand signals.
