Hello knoledgeble Max owners,

I have a problem with the rear defroster on my Max, tried to follow wiring to figure out the problem and could not. There is no voltage on the defroster contacts. Checked defroster as manual said..no problem, but thereis no good wiring diagram in the manual. If somebody has real wiring diagram could you email it at gala127@hotmail.com. Any advise are very welcome.

Was there at any time tint on the car that got removed?

this might sound a bit elementary.. did you check the fuse? Does the light come on when you press the button to activate the rear defrost?

I checked all fuses, also checked relay (not sure if it is correct named). When I push button I can hear click sound from the passenger side behind the plastic cover, I suppose it is relay too, and then the signal get lost. There is another relay in the engine compartment (passenger side) in black box. No light showing that defroster is activated; there is light when I turn dash lights on. It could be easy I just don't know where to check. It never worked since I bought this car from salvage auction; it had quite a mess on the right front side. That is why I try to find reliable electrical diagram to check what electrical stuff involved into defroster.
