need advice on muffler

ok, i just ordered two budget y-pipes from jody at budget exhaust in canada. as a special, jody is giving me two test pipes, too. before i put these on both of my maxima's, i am also going to order two mufflers. i only have about 200 dollars left. i don't want a civic rice-boy'z raspberry muffler. i am looking for something deep, yet not too loud. anyone can help me with this?
i need advice as soon as possible, but for sure i'll order something by today. i am looking at a whole bunch of 50 dollar mufflers on ebay right now, they all are said to be deep toned and tig-weld 304 stainless steel. can anyone let me know how their ebay mufflers sound, and is it worth the money?
any help is appreciated.

keep the stock muffler. it doesnt rob any power, and will still be quiet with Y pipe. i have budget Y and B pipes and a magnaflow muffler, and its pretty loud (at lower rpm it doesnt sound very nice either).

Anything that's a flow-through muffler will be noisy. I had one on with my Budget Y and it was annoying for me. I had to switch back to the stock muffler. I've now got the B-pipe and will be staying with the stock muffler.

ok thanx alot, i just called the southwestautoworks, and Steve told me to stay stock if i did the test+ y-pipe. besides, new muffler will not get me more than 3 hp. so the best thing to do is to stay stock and it'll keep quiet. thanx guys
