Went to Dealer today with my Vq35 6 speed 4th Gen

Lol. kinda hard to think of a title for this thread and not sound selfish and cocky at the same time.

Well I went to the dealer today and boy there was a huge smile on my face. I couldnt find a parking space at the parts department so I drove into the waiting area where car await work. There were 3 guys standing there. All of them had Nismo and Nissan hats and shirts on representing Nissan. I looked at them and said whats up. So i go in to the parts department to get a estimate on some parts. When I come out, all of them are looking at my car and i could see that they are talking about it. So i get into my car and start it up and back up. This whole time they are looking at me. So I give the car some gas and they hear my Frankencar intake and they eyes are That just made my day and I was just plain happy. Just wanted to share.

I think you should bring it to a different dealership and non-chalantly schedule an oil change. When they ask about the VQ35, claim you bought it like that and have never even popped the hood.

I'm lost. Was your hood open or what? If not, they probably thought it was just another maxima with an intake.
