Corner Lamps

How do you remove the corner lamps. I removed the top screw and the lens still won't come out. And my Check engine light is on. And the code says Egr flow malfunction. Will this harm the engine if i keep driving it?

as far as the corner lamp: there's a ball-and-socket joint at the bottom of the light, you'll have to stick a flathead screwdriver down there and pry it out. not sure about the cel offhand.

edit: not sure if this helps, but http://forums.maxima.org/showpost.ph...54&postcount=8

ya "Sotheast first" is right you have to use a flat head. It is stuck in the back a little but dont pull it off use the screw driver and turn it in the slot.

97-99 clearance removal is a B**** compared to 95-96... like stated above, there is a ball & socket holding it in... if you look on the fender there is a flat tab holding it in... your gonna need to pull as hard as you can on the side closest to the fender (farthest from headlight) until it comes from under that tab... then take a flash light and find the socket and then put a flathead in there and TURN IT!!! don't waste time trying to pry it out... just turn it and pull a little bit... it will be the hardest to get out on the first time... it took me about an hour if i can remember correctly... but now i can do it in 30 seconds... give or take a minute!
