more idle problems. IAC and TB cleaned
today i cleaned the IAC valve and TB both of which are spotless, i even took the TB off to get it extra clean and to clean a little bit inside the manifold.
anyways. about 30 minutes ago i went to teh store (about a 10 minute drive). when i left the store, the car was completely warmed up and the idle was at 900 and fluctuating a little bit. by the time i got home the car was idling at 1100, then rised to 1250 and comtinued to fluctuate by probobly like 20-30 RPM. i have not yet tested the TPS to make sure it is functioning properly. other than a faulty TPS, what else could be causing my idle problems. i would just adjust the screw on the IAC valve to correct the idle, but the idle is never in the same place.
also, how do i reset the ECU? i attemted to reset teh ECU after i did all ym cleaning but im not sure if i did it right. i turned the screw all the way clockwise and held for a few seconds. then turned all the way counter-clockwise and held for a few seconds, then put the screw in the middle. was this right?

I am not sure if it reset ECU...but to clear codes it works as follow:
- gently turn the screw clockwise till it stops, wait for two seconds and return the screw in the initial position.
- wait for two more seconds and repeat it;
I believe it has more detailed description in stickies or in FAQ. Check it out to make sure you everything right.

also, when i remove the PCV valve, do i just taje a rag and clean the socket that it plugs into, or is there something mroe to cleaning this part of the system?
