Engine difference between Manual and Automatic tranny

Hello all,

I remember reading here on Maxima.org a while back that there was something that we had to remove or install when replacing an engine in a car with a standard transmission with an engine from a car with an automatic transmission. I removed the engine from my 5sp Max and I am in the process of moving the parts to my "new" engine that came from an automaitc. The only difference I can see is the hole in crankshaft where the flywheel is bolted is of different size. Otherwise I can't see any difference. Any idea?

Thanks again for all your help,
Stephane
