buyin 4th gen ... hows this one ? need advice !

ok guy i already own a 5th gen but also want a 4th gen , this guy is selling a 1999 maxima GLE, dark silver with all black interior, leather, moonroof, bose, etc etc all the goodies he has 93k on it , its his mothers car its all factory no perfomace part and stuff all stock , his mother hit a guardrail going 40 mph side swiped it it needed a new fender and 2 doors , he replaced them and repainted them , A EXCELLENT PAINT JOB, anyways he want $5000, i can talk him down to $4500 should i take it ?

its a auto , he said hed ask for ALOT more but since he had that little crash with the guardrail , hes sellign cheaper, b/c it has a accident on it

GLE=auto.

That would be a really good price except for the accident. It should still be pretty good as long as it doesn't have a salvage title. Take it someplace to have checked out and make sure they know about the accident...You don't want to deal with frame damage. Also drive it and make sure there are no wierd vibrations and the alignment is good. You sure you don't want a stick?

That is a good price.
I would check into it a little more like said above....b/c of salvage.
However, get that thing if everything checks out.

Remember though, with it being auto and 99, you will not be able to do some of the performance things to it. Just letting you know ahead of time.

I got a 99 SE 5-spd with a little over 50k and a lot of goodies...I'll probably let it go for 10,500...anyone interested?
