My 1996 GXE power locks and power windows don't work. Also the dome light will not come on when the door is opened. It does work when placed in the on position. The door locks were acting intermittant meaning when I would unlock the driver or passenger door with the key or alarm transmitter the driver door would lock back by itself. I have checked the fuses they all look ok. Any help on this matter is greatly appreciated.

ok im gonna be kinda obvious but check the fuses. and i have the same thing with the dome light i dosent turn on when i open the door only when i press the switch.

I have checked the fuses none are blown. Where do I go from there?

My dad's 3rd gen did that in high school. Locked me in it several times!

The VTC went after that, and the car was sold. I'll ask him tommorrow if he remembers. Just throwing this out there.... the headunit would randomly go on and off too right when it happened.

Sounds like the controller went. It's located in the trunk under the lining on the right side.
