I've seen this mentioned before in the forums but didn't have a clue. What is a Cefiro? Never heard of it before.

Cefiro is what nissan calls the Maxima in other parts of the world. It's kind of a cross between our I30 and Maxima. The car in those pics is definitely a Cefiro. I still dont know how that guy knows what mods it has under the hood...

That looks like an ELSE. Nissan came out with an I30 a couple of years back that had a big brake kit, those rims, exhaust and a couple of other mods. I'm not sure if that is one but it could be, coincidence?????

Yes they are. That is not a Cefiro though, it appears to be a Nissan QX from New Zealand.

His car is definatly not a I30. Maybe he had it imported from euorope, but why? A I30 is nicer looking anyhow.

What I'm trying to say is he can't be driving the car around w/ those type of plates as far as I know.

Seems fishy.

Are you trying to say that your{or who's ever it is} is a I30? That is bull$hit! That is nissan QX for sure, the bumper, side skirts, rear lights and bumper, steering wheel are not that of a I30.

Doug, I saw this car on the net a bunch of times before, other people have posted pics of it. BTW your right the guy is fabricated his story. To bad we know better!

Just in case you need any more proof that this car isn't in the US, I spotted a Nissan Patrol in the background of one of the pics.

MidEast Maxima Version.

My car in the United Arab Emirates (U.A.E) that's in Middle-East our Maxima version combined a body of Infiniti I30 and Interior of a Maxima, they call it in the U.S Infiniti I30 and in Japan Nissan Cefiro and it has an EXACT Maxima engine that's why you see Nissan logo on the steering wheel.you can check MidEast Maxima version except for the front grill (it comes with exact U.S Infiniti I30 front grill "the chrome one") I changed it to Euro looking grill.

I'm 99% sure the I30 ELSE was black with Enkei RSE wheels. I have the issue of R&T at my mom's house somewhere, but I won't be back there for another month. That's a Cefiro. Maybe Nissan did the same concept with a Cefiro for a country that doesn't have Infiniti?

Maxima, Infiniti I30, Cefiro.

Nissan made 3 different version of Maxima, the first version is U.S Maxima which is available in the U.S and not in the MidEast the second version is Infiniti I30 which is available both in the U.S and MidEast(we call it Nissan Maxima "they changed steering wheel with Nissan logo on it and Nissan logo on the back of the trunk"), third version is Nissan Cefiro (same look as Infiniti I30) and it's not available in the U.S nor the MidEast you can find it in Japan and Europe (which is right hand drive).

Well in that case I am sorry, you were comming across as if you had a U.S. I30. BTW disregard my reply to your private messages, I just remembered that you are correct about the I30 grill being on your max.

Now that you are here, are there any cool parts from you country that us maximas.I30's don't have? Share your knowlege. Thanks

madmax69, i saw the picture of the big brake, isnt the rotor on the wrong side of the car? the brake pad is supposed to hit the inner hole first... the picture shows the driver side front wheel, but the rotor looks like it supposed to be on the right side of vehicle.....

Do those things come in 5spd?!?

Cefiero, i30/maxima thing whatever they all are. I think that one actually looks bad ***. Although that interior is that of a Maxima, not I30...although I did notice the gauge cluster has the shift status indicator in between the tach and spedo. Plus can someone tell me why you cant view the pics if saved to disk? Is it possible to make a max look similar to the Cefiero, such as the one piece headlights? would they fit in a 4th gen max. Just wonderin if I ever decide to get a 4th gen

Taking a shot from a back seat.

I tooke this shot from my back seat to show you Stillen Rear Strut Brace connects the upper end of the rear suspension. Furthermore, you can see 2 Kenwood Amps on each side beside the Kenwood dB+ woofer.
