I have a question. I have heard that when you change something in your max you have to unplug the battery for like to hours just so the computer will learn the new thing. Is this so? Because I recently started putting 93 octane gas in my car, but before I had only been putting 87 octane. Should my car be effected by this. I have filled it up with supreme the last five times. Do I need to reset it by unpluging the battery?

No, the computer is self learning

After driving awhile the computer "relearns", adjusting to all variables. BTW: You should've been using 93 all along.

O I know, but I haven't had the car that long and the person who owned prior to me didn't use da good stuff. But anyways, would that account for bad mileage in anyway?

it might...

need a bottle of injector cleaner to go with that high octane gas, if it's been using 89. it won't hurt. the computer shouldn't have a problem with a different type gas
