squeeky noise in right front passenger tire? rotars? brake?

hello, i notice a high pitch squeeel, squeek, and sound when ever i brake, and it is erally loud when its almost to a complete stop, not loud loud, but a noticeable soudn even w/ a/c on.

i also do hear a slight pitch sound comring from the passeger front right tire, as if something is being scratched while driving, not even pressing the brakes.

could this be the braking ssyterm?

what can i do? thanks..

Take the front pads off and apply a little Stop Squeak to the back of them.

Stop Squeak is about $3.99 from any auto parts store.

Here is how to get the pads off, it is easy: http://www.motorvate.ca/mvp.php/300

so is it the pads? i hope its not somethign major... i mean if the sound only came when i pressed the brakes

cuz the pads scratch? or rubs while i am driving?? i am highly inclined to believe that since it makes sound even w/o pressing brake, but w/ brake it is jsut louder..

anyhow thanks. i will give it a try.. boy i just wish i could search.... trying to find out teh 'jack points' ... the stands i have, i think they may ruin the jack points. i actually posted about how to jack the car from the front w/ the aftermarket jacks, and use the jack stand... maybe i should bump it up... my stands dont' ahve the wedge ..

I am willing to bet it is just your pads. The pads stay in contact with the rotor all the time, they just have pressure when you press the brake pedal. The squeak could be heard all the time on my car too. I took all the pads off, filed the rough edges, applied stop squeak and now have NO noise.

There are small cut outs on the bottom of the car that show you where the jack points are. Use these points only to raise the car.
