Hey is there anyone that has taken a 2k exhaust and put it on a 4th gen? Im about to get a 5th gen sp exhaust from someone and put it on my max. It is close to possbible?

I think "minor" modifications is not right. the length will be totally different and the bends in the B-pipe will not line up. The muffler won't use your stock hangers. I bet by the time you spend the money to get it to fit and pay for the used cat-back you could have just bought a new SP that is made for your car.

Your not gonna want an exhaust shop hacking up your nice madrel bent ca-back to make it fit

 

well i was thinking about it and didnt know if it was close. they dont make the sp2 for my car and i dunno what mods the 95-96 requires to fit the 97.

 

Tell me why the supposed 95-96 SP2 won't fit your car? But you think a 2K will fit?

 

This past weekend I installed an SP2 onto a '99 Cal-Spec. I can't say for sure it fits all 97-99s but it did fit this car just about perfect. I'll update with a pic when my gallery is back up.
