i will be changing my rear suspension this weekend, i have been reading its a easy job that can be done at home. I just wanted some tips or a write up about doing the job ( i only have the hyans manuel). I know the manuel usually assume certain stuff ( i had a problem when i used it to change my brake pads). so any tips to make the job easier would be great.

Just make sure you remember EXACTLY how everything goes before you take it apart. Especially the rear bushings and stuff. Other than that, its a breeze, just time consuming.

Order some new rear strut mounts from me while you're at it

I believe you can find a write up in the FAQ's.

like posted above, when you disassemble the strut from the spring line all the parts out in the ground in the order they need to be put back.

Make sure you have the front strut mounts faceing the correct way. You might want to mark the orentation of which side needs to be out before removing the spring.

When putting the strut/spring assembly back in, loosely bolt up the top first then bolt the bottom to the steering knuckle. Use the play in the lower control arm to line things up.

If your OEM spring isolators are torn to hell, either get new ones or make something that will work.
