cat converters / b pipe question

I plan on replacing my stock cat converter soon. I purchased a y-pipe the other day and decided i want to re-do the cat also. I was looking at this one on ebay. tell me what you think about it.. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...sPageName=WDVW
if that one sucks where can i get a good one?

also where can i get a decent cheap b-pipe? or should i leave my stock one on there.

i allways doubt myself, so whatever you guys can reccommed really helps out. THanks alot

You can get a magnaflow hi-flow cat from warpspeed for pretty cheap. It won't give you any hp gain but it's a cheap alternative to buying an oem cat. If you want a cheap b-pipe, go to a local muffler shop and have them custom bend one for you. Be sure to get 2.5" though.

Isn't the one in the link like a straight pipe or something? From what i've been told a straight pipe may make your exhaust sound a little raspy.

That is not a high flow cat, it just a hollow tube of metal with flanges on the end. Honestly I would not get a new cat unless your current one is clogged or broken apart.

What you are looking at on e-bay is a resonator not a cat. I have one on my car and they don't sound raspy. They do make your exhaust a little louder though. A straight pipe sounds raspy.
