tips: if you locked yourself out of your car
ever lock yourself out of the car? forgot the key inside and you are miles away.....
if a spare remote is at home, call home and have someone hold it up to the phone and press the open button, you bring your phone close to the car and your doors will open!

That brain never stops spinning does it?
PS: It ONLY works when the key is in the ON position in the ignition. You should see a series (4-2-4) of flashing from your signal lights when the other party presses the UNLOCK button. You've got to be more SPECIFIC!!

I actually had to do this last week, becuase I had lost my remote off my keychain, and needed to get into my car, and disable the alarm. I called up my gf, and she did it, and it worked like a dream! And saved my azz since I'm 2 hours from home.........

It's too late now but it'd nice to know for the future... does it have to be a cell phone or would a cordless phone work, too?
