Koni Bumpstops

Anyone who has used them...

For the fronts...do you put the pointy side Up or Down?

Same question for the backs???

This is on an illumina setup.

I've never heard of koni bumpstops. Does somebody have a link? Are they shortened like the KYB dustboot/bumpstop?

So these would replace the stock bumpstops? What is their advantage?

They are not hollow like the factory ones. If you hit the bumpstops they provide a gradual impact which allows for a better ride, especially on the lowered rides with less height.

I added those on to my Illumina setup as well as the Motivational rear mounts that give an extra inch of suspension travel.

Yah i got them in. I think the illuminas have done their job of not even bottoming out at all. I dont think Ive hit the bumpstops yet. If so...its not bad at all.

I remembered them from a friend when I had a G20 and he used them on his G because of they're "soft but performance-like" qualities.

If I remember correctly the Koni's are just the bumpstop while the stock/aftermarket ones are bellows/bumpstop.
Is there any way to use these Koni bumpstops with the stock "bellows"(ie, cut off bumpstop portion) in order to help keep crud off the strut rods?
