The only thing I do not like about the flip out screens that they block the climate controls. How do you manage?

thanx for the responses guys, ive been thinking about the rear emblem as well, ive had others say take it off too. i think i will take it off soon it does look a lil odd by itself. oh and the LCD is ok, once the AC is set, "its pretty much set it and forget it" its not to much of an inconvenience, it just folds down, turn air on, fold up. i plan to change it for a motorized screen in the future.

about the clear bumpers, trust me they are on their way. i kinda want the black ones tho cause i plan on doin the AE mod with my 97 headlights. and i wanted to get the black trimmed corner lights too. i jus need a lil time cause i spent my money on some clothes for work, and i just bought some silverstars for the headlights.

i have my AGX and Intrax sitting here, waiting for an install. im jus waiting on my axle install.

i just added a few more pics of my lights at night, and i jus did the clear corner mod, it looks a hella lot better. check it out.
thanx for the responses

Nice man. 3 subs? wow, probably could hear you from miles away. I like your monitor setup too...but getting to the climate control blows. Nice leather swap. I have a black center console out of a 97 for cheap if u want it.

how much for the console shipped 33020 hollywood fl, im in no rush now since money is a lil bugeted for now but if its a good price i might ****** it up.

The subs used to beat super hard but i think the amp is on its last legs. it used to beat real nice than one day the bass got a lil quiet and it never went back to its once, punchy self. i did everythinfg i could but no luck. oh well. This system is gonna be outta the car soon, it is waaaaaaay to heavy and im tryin to do minor weight reduction. i will just put onw 12, maybe a W7 and a new amp. that should lower the weight tremendously.

wow dude ur the 1st to ever say i have an ugly bkgrnd.lol. well it isnt like cardomain has anything better.

i actually got my seats off ebay, the shipping was only 50 bucks but the strangest thing happened. after i won the auction i emailed him to confirm the total amount to be paypaled and asked what shipping method he uses. then he said why do you want to ship it, i can meat you locally and it turned out he was from hollywood as well. i met him in person and picked up the seats, and he also gave me the rear for free since it has a rip in the center armrest, but its all good tho, the leather looks great.

its hard to find leather at the yards around here cause its always raining and they leave the cars outside. i ran upon a nice gle that was trashed because the rain got to the leather and it was smelling fishy. keep lookin dude.

thanx for all the rply guys, p.s the emblem is now off.

Sweet looking max.

What amazes me the most is that you have the Gen2 Altezzas on a 95, I alway thought we couldnt use them due to some wiring and fitment issue how did you get the Gen2's to work? Did you just put on a 97 Trunk Lid and that was it? then put in the Gen2's and all worked?

I would love to know as I always wanted the Gen2 from the beginning but found out that the 95-96 couldnt use it, well now its time to (try) and sell my Gen 1 and get some Gen2 and a new trunk. I'll have to make a new sig at that time too . . .

as for the trunk swap is it just finding a 97 trunk and puttin it on in place of the 96 trunk? or is there other things to adjust, are their any firment problems or pretty much bolt on and done.

any problems with unlocking trunk with FOB? or button on driver door?

just wondering so I know what to run into when I do the same.

thanks a bunch

i had to purchase the following

97 trunk
97 trunk bottom latch, the one that goes onto the car.

the latch that i used with my 95 trunk didnt lock the trunk shut. it would close but wouldnt stay shut. that was the only problem i had. other than that everything was cake. it took maybe 25-30 minutes. just un hook the lights, remove 4 bolts and the trunk is off. the latch has 2 screws then thats off. the only semi difficult thing was getting the keylock off the old trunk and putting it on the new trunk. i had to switch everything over, the key hole, the arm that hits the latch....but it wasnt too bad. the altezzas werent hard to install either, 30 minutes maybe. there was only one problem and i dont know if its because i didnt have the harness from the 97 tail lights, or there is something missing from my gen 2's but the outter bulbs arent locked into the light housing the way my reverse lights are locked in. the turn signal bulbs are just held inside with tape since there is no housing to lock them in there. maybe u guys can help me out with that, is there a housing which is supposed to come with the 97 tail light or the gen 2 taillight to hold the bulb in place?

hers a pic to help u understand, see the outter light, the bulb is kinda hanging there cause it has no "adapter" to lock it in place.

on a side note, can any of you notice a color difference on the trunk? its actually deep evergreen i think, and im black emerald. i was lucky enough to find it locally and in a color similar to mine. most cant notice a color change. you def cant tell at night. dont worry im gonna paint it tho, and the hood too.

yea what a fu*kin cheese bag. ford focus is a joke compared to a maxima, or any v6 import for that matter. he might hold his own against a malibu, or a non svt contour. what a d!ck. i jus ****ted on his GB after another org'er came on and asked us to chek out his page. i read ur GB dood, let us know if u want to rally the troops and we will s#it on his GB again.

The strut bar does improve handling alot. i feel more sure footed when i take turns at higher speeds. I dont think its any better/worse than the other strut bars. i bought it off ebay and payed 35 bux shipped. there were cheaper ones but i wanted to spend a lil extra for somethin nice. there was a white, a gunmetal, and a red colored one. i took the red and havent seen any like em ever since. its supposedly made by megan racing.
