replace your headlight bulbs and make sure the wiring harnesses aren't melted. i've had the high beam light come on because the bulb was out, put in a new one and it was fine. howcome you haven't replaced your light when it went out?? i also had my wiring harnesses melt and those are like $4 at autozone to replace so check those too. just look at where the headlights plug in and see if it looks funny because if the previous owner (if you bought used) had the wrong wattage bulbs, they might have melted and finally given out.
