Anyone done this?
Anyone know the +/- of takin out the resinator. I currently have a muffler on there and it is loud but would this be a good idea and is it considered a cat back now? Has anyone done this? Would it be worth it? Can i pass inspection?
Thanks

Removal of the resonator will result in a raspy, loud exhaust note. A catback refers to the b-pipe and muffler portion of the exhaust system. And IMO, it wouldn't be worth it because you'd pay money for a louder, ricier sound. Also, it won't have any effect on passing emissions testing because all a resonator is a glasspack that forces the gases into chambers to quiet the sound.
