Question for the "converted"?

Im putting an I30t motor in my car which was an automatic and my car is a 5spd. I took the flex plate off of the I30 and was about to put my fly wheel on but noticed the I30 motor had a spacer around the crank and no pilot bushing. Do i need to make reperations? Its tough to get the spacer out and i cant fit the pilot bushing past it. A guy at nissan said i dont have to bother swapping but i think the input shaft on the trans-axle will be chattering around inside if i don't... whos done it?

Oh yeah, GOOOOOOOOOOO RED SOX

you have to pull that spacer for the auto tranny out and then put a pilot bearing for the 5spd in
