Transmission Replacement

I may be looking at a transmission replacement. I have a 96 5spd, and am wondering if others have had to replace their manual transmissions. If so, what can I expect to pay for this job?

Labor should be the same as a clutch job. So like $300-500. Tranny varies alot in price. Check out car-part.com. I'd say go with a 98-2001 tranny to avoid the diffy bearing problem. You should also replace the clutch ($200) and resurface the flywheel ($50) since your in there.
