95-96 tail lights to 97-99?

I'm looking at getting a 4th gen and was wondering if the 95-96 and 97-99 taillights are interchangable. Thanks

u dont need the bumper to switch to a 97 trunk lid, well at least i didnt. from my experience u need the trunk lid, and the bottom latch. i got pics of my conversion on my cardomain. its a very easy job, th lid is held by 4 bolts. the only hard part is changing the key fob and the latch arm, but it onluy takes 25-20 mins to do.
