Tell me what you think of this quote
BACKROUND ON CAR - i've had a bit of vibration in the steering wheel and pedals. I had an alignment/balance done 5 weeks ago, which improved it greatly but there is still some vibration that wasnt there previously. Also, the l/h wheel bearing needs replacing.
Its a 95 Max with 195,000kms (120,000 mlies)
THE QUOTE - Got a quote from a suspension shop today, I got them to do a 28 point check, here's what they came up with: (keep in mind prices are Australian $'s, American in parenthesis)
l/h wheel bearing $85 ($60)
sway bar link bush(4pk) x2 $38 ($26)
Lower inner front bush x2 $599 ($420)
Tie rod ends x2 $350 ($245)
Tie rod ends and Lower Front bushes are straight from Nissan, Maximas are pretty rare here. The bushes cant be bought seperate, need to buy the whole kit.
Quoted $1368 in total - imo a f$%&ing joke.
