If you want to keep the 4x4 look, just get some stock springs. You can get them used for almost nothing. The GXE and GLE had the same springs.

However, why not just get H&R's? They will only give you a small drop and have good ride quality and better handling. Plus your car will look a little sleeker. It's a win-win situation!

And lowering your car 1.4 inches won't make it any more difficult to drive. You will still have lots of ground clearance, even on the worst roads (trust me, upstate NY has some of the worst). Just stay away from the S-techs if you are worried.

how's the ride with those? i'm almost the same as you. I have the front installed with S-Techs and Illuminas, and the rear equivalent in the garage. I gotta take it to a friends garage to loosen that damn bolt in the rear!

Dropzone cut out one coil, my brother has sprint and his looked way better uncut then mine did. Sprint is the only spring I have seen that actually drops the car 2' as stated. Dropzone stated 2' thats BS.

Thinking about Tokico Illuminas with Tokico Sport springs from eBay. Drops 1.25 in. Daily driver so I don't want it too low or too stiff, would H&R springs be better than the Tokico springs in terms of comfort and handling?

Id say get the ones from Custom Enterprises. They give a 1.5 drop in front and a 1.3 drop in the rear. Still good and it looks nice. Check out my home page for pics. Just got them last month, ride is great!
