I have done the Drop Resistor Mod (rocker switch in cabin) and when I flip the switch my check engine light comes on with a trouible code PO745 Line Pressure Solenoid Valve Malfunction. ???????????? Need some help and advice to solve this problem. Is this the Line Pressure Solenoid valve that attaches to the valve body? Do I need a new one? Where can I find the best price? Can I get just the pressure solenoid or do I have to get it with all of them as a unit?

 

Isn't that normal when you do the DR mod?

 

I don't know. That is what I am trying to find out. If not I want to know how to fix this problem. I am getting tired of getting my scanner to clear the code.

When you do a DR mod with a switch in the cabin does the CEL light come on when the DR mod is used when not at WOT? Some one help me on this.

 

yes, it even comes on with the WOT switch. nothing you can really do about it for all i know. i just don't even bother reseting it anymore cause it's constantly on with the way i drive. if you have a small code scanner you should leave it permanantly hooked up in your car so you can reset it whenever you want with ease.
