RPM gauge going up slowly

While I am driving my 1995 Nissan Maxima GLE, my RPM gauge goes up slowly. However, the RPM is fine and does not affect the performance. Can anyone tell me what’s actually going on or do I need to replace the RPM gauge? Where can I find them? I have looked for a replacement part but no luck.

check on Ebay for a 95/96 gauge cluster, its your best bet. I know few Nissan owners whos tach has crapped out, not sure from what though. it may not be the gauge itself tho.

Does its seem like its "sticking" sorta as you rev up ?? Most likely the Tack cause one day soon it will just stop working.

I just bought one off of Car-parts.com for 115$ shipped for the entire cluster...switch over the new Tach to your cluster and your back in the game
