as some of you may know im putting a 5th gen 3.0L in my 97 max...check out the thread if you want more info because this is just an informational thread to tell you the lobe height of the VQ30DE and the VQ30DEK


VQ30DE intake lobe 44.01mm
exhaust lobe 43.98mm


VQ30DEK intake lobe 44.05mm
exhaust lobe 44.51mm


i measured these lobes w/ a micrometer and im assuming that due to error or worn parts the intake cams are the same height in both engines but the exhaust lobe on the VQ30DEK seems to be .5mm longer. any questions/comments feel free to ask.
