Today's motor oil, especially synthetics (Amsoil, Mobil 1) have more than enough additives and detergents in there to help keep the internals immaculate.

I heard from a friend that works at jiffy lube (oil cahnging franchsie over here) That mobil 1 manufacture most of the syntheic oil for common companies except for like amsoil, redline, and those high brands one. Something like that.... their manager told them that. shrugs. jsut what i heard don't know waht to believe.
