I've installed the kit per instructions into my 98 GLE. Is there supposed to be some gasket to cover the gap around the lamps within the template in the fascia, or is it sort of just in there? Everything's tight and solid, but I just want to make sure. Thanks.

There is a little piece that snaps on to make the gap on the inside of the light (towards the center of the car) look smoother but nothing for the outside. I installed fogs on my Dad's 97 GLE a few weeks ago and it has a huge gap. The car has been in a minor accident in the front left and the bumper is still shifted even after it was fixed. It diesn't look that bad.
