CV joints

Hi. I have a 97 nissan maxima which has Bad cV joints. My friend had bought cv joints (Whole AXLE ) for his 97 maxima wich has ABS last year but never used it. Since i have his CV's now can i still put those on my maxima since i dont have ABS.

you can but there is a step you will need to take for it to work properly with your car.

checkt he how to's on CV rebult, there is something you have to do to the teeth on the CV to work right with Non Abs. I cant remember exactly off the top of my head.

I think you can also. but you can't use the non abs and put them into a car that has abs.

A non-ABS car can use either, but obviously the ABS car has to have an ABS axle.
