Strut Bar

Would I feel a significant improvement in adding a front strut bar to my stock supsension, or shoudl i wait until I get it lowered?

I noticed a slight difference in handling with the strut bar, it wasn't a huge difference but it was noticeable. It was nothing compared to the improvement of lowering the car, but in my opinion it is worth it (especially if you go with ebay, you can get it for $25 shipped or so). Good luck and welcome to the org.

You can get one from Courtesy for about $50 now. I remember reading about how the eBay ones aren't effective b/c of the adjustability. Courtesy is made to fit our cars exactly.

I did the eBay FSTB as my first mod, and didn't notice any difference.

I noticed my books that are all over my back seat didn't roll around as much on sharp turns, which is what I was looking for. I heard it was the exact opposite, if you wait til after you get lowered to get one, you won't feel the difference at all.

save your money and get the RSB, its about twice as much as the FSTB, but you will definately notice it

No, you will not feel a huge change.
Yes, you will pretty much eliminate torque steere(when you take off right now, and it feels like the car either wants to go to the right or the left right out of your hands.)

Why do you say save your money, when it is still a good mod, and you can get one for like $30 on ebay like the others said?

The ebay ones are fine. I don't know why someone would say that they are not effective because they are adjustable, because when you tighten them down with a wrench, those babies are not moving without a wrench.

I have an ebay one, and it was from some company called ReVotec. They were fast and it is good and looks good.

the combination of the two gets the best results, its best to compliment a RSB with a FSTB to stabilizet he WHOLE car, instead of just the back, or just the front, its best to have both one at the same time, the FSTB will be rendered useless if you lower the car, but the RSB will still remain in affect because it changes a different aspect of handling (controlled vertical motion). get an ebay FSTB, i love how people say "they heard that....", its a metal bar, because its adjustable means you can just tighten it so it functions EXACTLY the same as any other metal bar, in fact on gregshome.com he used an aluminum metal pipe he threw in a vise and crushed the ends of, and worked the same as any other FSTB...

Strut Bar

Reading this thread it probably makes good sense to have a strut bar added after I update all my shocks and struts. I only did rears and the back is sliding all over the place

RSB first - it makes for more oversteer, which is always a good thing. Then FSTB, unless you can find one for $13 shipped lol, then jump on that asap.

Reading this thread probably makes good sense not to post in it....because it is 4 years old and you will not get many inciteful replies, like this one.

well since this thread is up here might as well ask a quick question

I have a Paradox RSTB that hasnt been installed and i have an ebay FSTB on the way, what i was wondering is can i switch the connector on the sides of the strut bar and use the Paradox designed bar at the front and the ebay one in the rear, or is it not possible because they have a size difference?
