I hope it is bad gas.

It is starting to get cold in the city of brotherly love. My 1995 Max has 162,000 miles on it. I run 93 or better in it. It was running fine until I yesterday I filled it up with Sunoco 93 octane it ran fine for about ten minutes then it started hesitating I stopped and put in some dry gas in I was near home so I couldnt really tell if it was the problem. My questions are what is the best gas(brand and octane level) for my 95 maxima, how much is condensation a problem in the max and is this the problem. It started to run a little better this morning.

Brand shouldn't (doesn't) matter. Just make sure you use 91 octane or better.

Don't put dry gas in it either.

could the octane level make such a drastic change what else could be the problem?

Most people's random stumbling is related to either ignition coils or the coolant temp sensor, not the gas.

If this is the first time it happened, and it only happened for aminute, don't sweat it.

See if it occurs again, then maybe worry

may be a blocked fuel injector. Try cleaning all the injectors.
